Tomb Raider III has a serious jump level design and variety compared to Tomb Raider II. Locations include the rainforests of India, London, Nevada, South Pacific Islands and Antarctica, making up a total of 19 massive levels set in varied terrains and conditions. The levels are less linear than in the previous games thanks to multiple paths in exploration and puzzles. New weapons include MP5, Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher and Desert Eagle and there is a larger range of enemies, including more exotic animals. Lara is also capable of a few new moves including sprinting, crawling and "monkey swinging". Tomb Raider III stays in the action/adventure genre as well as the third person perspective. These have become one of the things that the series of games is known for.
Lara Croft faces the great dangers of an unleashed Egyptian god in her fourth tomb raiding adventure. Last Revelation's redesigned inventory system gives Tomb Raider brand-new gameplay. Combined with Lara's new moves and abilities, gameplay features greater scope than ever before. Clear objectives and smaller locations result in less time spent traveling between areas. Individual environments are more reminiscent of the original game - tightly focused and puzzle-orientated, but with higher levels of detail and a greater number of objects than seen before. An emphasis on ancient locations and tombs allows mystery, suspense and characteristic atmosphere to play key roles throughout.
Left 4 Dead puts four human playable or AI-controlled Survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of the Infected. Regular Infected are controlled by the game AI, while human players can control up to four mutated Special Infected with special abilities in Versus mode. The goal of Left 4 Dead for the Survivors is to help each other make it through a level to safety. Infected players must cooperate to stop them.
